It was time for this kitchen on Seattle’s Eastside to shake off the 1980’s. So, the interior designers at Hyde Evans Design worked together to bring about a whole new look. They minimized the soffit that was weighting down the room. They turned a wall of less-functional cabinetry into beautiful and highly functioning storage. They updated the dim lighting to create perfect task and decorative lighting. The client found glass backsplash tile she loved. And they paired it with Basaltina stone countertops, custom white cabinetry, a bank of driftwood stained pullouts, and walnut colored floors. Simple, clean and beautiful.
